I can say that the one I have will put you on your ass in the street about as fast as the one pictured.
I make it a point to avoid hugging other people's wives, but I can probably help you with the insurance.

Oh man, don't even get me started on buying a drone. I was looking into that as well. I'm going in so many directions right now that I'm probably not even going to bother with drone stuff for now. My current company is trying to corner the market in their field with drones, and I'll let them. I kind of want one anyway though.
Picked up one of these today from a pawn shop for $155 out the door:

Used, but in very good condition. Only thing I don't like is how heavy it is, but I suppose quality/not having it sway like crazy requires more material.
Is that the 27'? There is no getting away from the weight at that size, especially if it has something like a 300lb weight limit. 27' is very tall for a ladder that you can A-frame.
It's the 25'. Its step ladder max is like 15' and extension is 25'.
That ladder is much heavier than a 24' aluminum extension ladder, but is much more versatile. With it being shorter, it's easier to use around the house as well. If you're only going to own one ladder, it should be that one.
Yep. It's very versatile. Already put the smoke detector back up that I'd knocked down while playing ball in the house.
My first Glock. I've shot them and even carried a 27 for a while. Just never owned one until now.

Congratulations!
Thanks. I think I can make the April ECOIDPA. If so I will use it there.
I'm likely going to be running one of my recent purchases for IDPA this season.

That Werner ladder is exactly what I need to hang pics in a stairwell. Better start watching CL.
When you're ready to step it up LMK. I have one of these collecting dust

I'm at the point where equipment upgrades don't really help my game. Lol.
Improving my technique and trying to actually get in some practice between matches would do me more good than a different handgun.
^^^ they had one at the reloading zone for a good price.
I got mine at USA Liberty Arms in Ft. Co.

That's a lot of equipment just to charge your phone, Stu.
It actually is to charge my phone, and my tablet. I'm not very good at the equations, so hopefully it's too much, rather than not enough.
I made a small solar charger to charge my phone when I'm camping in the back county.
Not that I get any service but more so I can use it for pictures and video.
I'll probably make a build thread and get help from everyone before me. The plan is this is going on the roof of my van. I spend a lot of time using both my phone and tablet, and I find that the inverters I get aren't really that great. This is largely experimental, but I'd like to have something that can be dedicated to just keeping my electronics charged while I'm out driving around (mostly during the day). Eventually I may start needing to bring my laptop as well. Plus, having an extra battery on board (even a tiny one) will be kind of nice. How small was the one you built for camping?
The panel is about 12" long and 4" wide. Or somewhere there abouts.
Small enough to pack along but big enough I wouldn't pack it if there was a lot of hiking involved.
10W?
I wanted a 100W panel, but that was going to be too big for the mobile project. May still do a chicken coop panel though.
I can't remember what I had for lunch yesterday so the details for something I threw together three or four years ago are kind of fuzzy. Lol.
