Yeah, I got lucky on this one. The uncle passed away and the niece didn't want it. Still has the spare in the trunk and original am/fm only radio that works!
Congrats Dave.
Last thing I will buy for the Tacoma. Coin holder a guy made with his 3D printer from another forum.

No the little square space that does nothing in my 2017.
The square space is for cartons of orange juice, duh.

I ordered a custom Dan Wesson Valor VBOB in January. Then forgot about it. Got to pick it up last night.

It's a 10mm with a couple of aesthetic touches I liked. Dan Wesson will not go all the way down the customization path like Brown, Wilson, or even Springfield's custom shop. But they were willing to do a couple things I liked that subtly set it apart from an off-the-shelf Valor.

With it's 10mm siblings:

I'd ask you if I could shoot it but I really cannot afford $1400 plus a stamp.
Colt Wiley Clapp CCO, previously enjoyed. Original owner swapped out the ignition parts for those from John Harrison, as well as Novak front night sight with Heinie low mount single tritium dot rear sight. He had different VZ grips on it, I put on these. This set-up of a Commander barrel/slide with Officers frame has always seemed to be the best configuration for a 1911 ccw piece to me. Ran a few rounds through it on Sunday, 100% function and shot great. Came with the box/papers, all original parts (except the grips) a Wilson mag, McCormick mag in addition to the two Colts.
Excellent fit/finish, tight barrel lockup, no rattles at all.

Very nice, Doc. I have the Wiley Clapp Government, and like it a lot. That's a good looking grip combination on that gun.
I picked up a Vortex Spark AR for my semi-functional, unreliable .22lr gun, so that I will reduce my FTE time between targets in competition. I wasn't prepared to be impressed, because I am a snobby Aimpoint/EOTech kind of guy, but first impressions are that it is a nicely constructed sight for the price point.

Not really for me but for my son who turns 12 next month. I'm sure he will let me shoot it.

From tactical drills to target practice, the CO2 powered SIG MCX ASP delivers 30 rounds of rapid-firing, simulated SIG MCX performance and handling for more realistic, economical training and practice — any time, any place. Chambered in .177 pellet, features include an 18" rifled steel barrel, synthetic handguard, picatinny rail, tactical front grip, Micro Red Dot Sight, flip-up front and rear sights and more.
Needed a new EDC bag and was surprised what it would hold in the ccw compartment.
