someone should forward the above scene to the feds with a little sticky asking for them to clarify the law for them. I'd tune in to watch this place get raided and closed in a heartbeat.

I watched the episode with the wounded vet on it. I guess they couldn't get any more original than when Sons of Guns did this for the wounded Marine.
To be honest, they didn't do anything "special" to the rifle for the vet. They shortened the barrel, changed the stock, lightened the trigger and extended the bolt handle. All of these things were done on my rifle :). I am happy they did something good for a vet but it isn't like they went out of the way or did something so unique that I said "wow".
Lame.
Are you kidding? He wouldn't give his used toilet paper away.

I enjoyed the tidbit that it took a certified genius (proprietor) to come up with the whiz bang idea of grinding the bolt handle so it could be threaded for the Badger knob.
And his poor Smiff's didnt know that.[Tooth]
(I guess nobody reads the directions that Badger sends with the knob)
Or in the supreme manufacturing basement that they dont have a bolt fixture to turn it in a lathe or on a mill with a boring head.
Lets not even discuss the large ones method of "Test firing" a barreled action with a new barrel and hodgepodged trigger.[Help]
