Meatball's diary. He he says they were rushing back to the car in the dark, he heard a splash. He found her shaking and lapsing in and out of consciousness and tried to carry her back to the car. Didn't make it so they laid there a while and then he "ended her life".
He ends with saying he's going to kill himself by the creek, hoping animals will eat his body.

Maybe hoping for a quick payout to avoid embarrassment but I don't see how such a lawsuit stands a chance. Under the precedent of Castle Rock v Gonzales and similar, courts have repeatedly held that the police have no legally enforceable duty to any specific individual.Quote:
