Thanks, but I'm not - sadly. Grew up in the Vietnam era with three brothers over there, let's just say the whole family was united in "discouraging" me from joining up.

Still pisses me off a Cabela's opened in CO. I hate paying sales tax on the good deals. Kinda ruins it.
Im not sure the exact day. I just HOPE and PRAY they have better customer service than Gander, DICKS, and Bass-Pro! What am I writing about?
ANY other business on planet Earth has better customer service than Gander, DICKS, or Bass-Pro! I don't know about you guys but, I absolutley hate going up to the counter in any of those stores. Especially in the gun departments. THEY BLOW! I think those companies intentionally higher the most worthless person to help you.
Well considering spring isn't even here yet, its gotta be months out. Spring to them may be 2 months of no snow. I myself will be glad to see them open. Bass Pro will have to actually treat customers with respect at the gun counter, well actually, who cares I won't go back there again in Stapleton. Last time I went there, the gun counter treated everyone like dirt, and the place reminded me of walmart, with all the circus freaks wandering the place.
I drive by it everyday as I live close. They had the chandeliers hanging and turned on last night.
Yeah, I've noticed that a lot. Nothing pisses me off more than walking up to a counter, seeing several employees look right at me, and then watching them go right back to bullshitting and ignore me! I've never worked retail, but Goddammnit, give me a chance and at least I'll wait on the customers!!!

SIDNEY, Neb. (June 17, 2013) Cabela's Incorporated, the World's Foremost Outfitter® of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, will celebrate the official grand opening of its two Denver-area locations – Thornton and Lone Tree – Thursday, Aug. 15.
Ribbon-cutting ceremonies hosted by Cabela's executives and special guests will begin at 10:45 a.m. at each location and doors will open for business at 11 a.m. Opening day will begin a weekend-long celebration featuring outdoor celebrities, events for the entire family, giveaways and more.
The Lone Tree store will be located in Douglas County south of Denver in the new RidgeGate Commons development along Interstate 25 at RidgeGate Parkway, about a mile south of Park Meadows Mall. The 110,000-square-foot store will employ approximately 200 full-time, part-time and seasonal employees.
The Thornton store will be located north of Denver in a new retail development along Interstate 25 at 144th Avenue. The new development will be located on the southeast quadrant of the interchange and is being developed by Thornton Development, LLC. The 90,000-square-foot store will employ approximately 175 full-time, part-time and seasonal employees.
The stores' interiors are built in Cabela's next-generation format designed to surround customers in the outdoor experience. The exteriors reflect Cabela's popular store model with log construction, stonework, wood siding, a large glass storefront and metal roofing.
In addition to thousands of quality outdoor products, the stores feature a gabled entry facade, fireplace, Gun Library, Bargain Cave, Fudge Shop and mountain replica featuring North American game animals re-created in their natural habitat.
Currently, Cabela's operates 44 stores across North America with plans to open an additional 16 over the next two years. The Thornton and Lone Tree stores will be Cabela's second and third in Colorado, joining the Grand Junction location opened in 2010. The company also operates a digital innovation office in Westminster.
The Thornton store looks tiny compared to the Lonetree, I will sneak out of work opening day to be at the Lonetree store.
