Columbine steakhouse has always been a grease pit of a place, but we seem to find ourselves always heading back there one and a while. The Texas Roadhouse in Thornton has a very good bone in ribeye. That is the only thing I ever get. I miss the Traildust steakhouse though.
The best thing about Texas roadhouse is the salads, that's not really a compliment for a steakhouse. Outback isn't even food.
Black Steer in Loveland is excellent beef at a reasonable steakhouse prices.
The Summit Steakhouse in Aurora. Probably not the best price/performance ratio that's out there, but I feel it's well worth it.

Have you tried "Hideaway" in Westminster. It's not cheap, but they have great steak. They were using all Red Hereford cattle and switched to Angus (I liked the Hereford better, and it was different from everyone else).
If you want good and cheap. I was selling Bumpers Grill in Broomfield some kickass steaks before I moved. He runs them as a special on occasion. Bumpers is a no frills place, cold beer and great burgers (with peanut shells on the floor)...I think he was getting $9.99 for a steak I was selling to him for $7.00
how about Mickey's .... A buddy of mine started selling them food a few months ago, he says they're buying some good stuff now
I've never had even halfway decent food at Mickeys. That place just plain sucks as far as I'm concerned. Never had a bad meal at Texas Roadhouse on Wads in Wheat Ridge.
I like Texas Roadhouse most of the time, I love the Salt Grass esp their potato soup.
The Black Steer in Loveland does a good sirloin.
I do prefer my own though, a nice 20oz well marbled boneless ribeye, salt and pepper grilled rare over some mesquite
