I'm not the best bass player in the world, but I know what it takes to be 'good', and it's most of what has been mentioned in this thread. I've always been a fan of Rush and especially Neil Peart. In an interview, Neil said that even he gets giddy when he nails Tom Sawyer. That says a lot about the difficulty of the drum lines. Doing this from my phone so I hope this link works.
