Just gonna be another race between giant douche vs turd sandwich. That said, I like Brophy (and some of the other guys) on gun control, education and energy. But, and this is just my opinion as a Libertarian, until some of these GOP guys are willing to drop the social issues, such as abortion and gay marriage, they're gonna have a hard time getting elected now and in the future... Elections are decided largely by independents, and most won't vote for social issues.
Kazoo on the independent ticket. He needs a job anyways and they have comfy chairs...
He was selected by the big money GOP folks. his track record was not great, he was / is a flip flopper like ol bill clinton, He's an UNELECTABLE candidate , BUT someone somewhere thought he should throw his hat in the ring.
IF he was that good a potential candidate, where has he been since hick took office? Where was he when the energy / screw rural co , gun issues, amnesty / in state tuition for Illegals were being debated?
IF he felt his input / opinion was that valuable, OR carried any weight he would have show up at the statehouse , in / on media, hell anywhere. No show Bob.
FWIW: I called the CO. GOP office this morning. Informed the lady answering the call, I've been a registered R since 74, voted in every election etc. IF BB was nominated i would vote 3rd party before i'd put an X next to his name, on any ballot.
She was kind of taken back, but would pass on my "feelings" to someone up the food chain.
The GOP pulled the same shit when they nominated Pete Coors for office. [fail] They snubbed Bob Schafer from the weld cty area. Who said he would honor his term limits and not push for re-election. He was very accessible by anyone contacting him, Actually sent replies and not form letters.
Pete Coors, fuck him, you couldn't get an audience with PC if he hit you in a cross walk.
Not saying that's what's going on here, but did you ever read "the blueprint" - it's likely that the democratic alliance has as much to say in some cases about who gets fed into the republican primaries as the actual GOP party does. That book was quite an eye opener.

So, we don't even have a republican candidate yet and we've already lost? That attitude will really be helpful in getting people out to vote. That's the spirit.
I'm beginning to wonder if the candidates are the problem...
Michael Brown (AM630) is going to have gubernatorial candidates on his show next week. He prefers we email our questions to the show.
