Think of how long they refused to post a speed limit. That came down to highway $. And WY changed their drinking laws while I lived there. You use to be able to legally drink and drive. NOT be drunk and drive but have your after work beer on the way home. Drive up liquor stores attached to bars so you could order a mixed drink with your six pack and cruise. Oh the good ole days. The other states have long since changed their laws and bent over for the FED GOV but not those two states mentioned on those items at least. I think they will hold strong. Defiant those states are.
I don't know how the state legislature is made up, but I think both US Senators and the Governor are all Democrats, aren't they? Maybe state's rights minded, but not necessarily conservative.
Any more news on this?

As I understand it, the battle will begin when the law takes effect on October 1.
I finally know what Mechelle Obama meant when she said "I finally love this country." She was talking about this law.
J/K she is a racists bitch that has made her choice to be a socialist. She won't love this country until its burried up to its neck in slaves and expecting a position above the commoners.
Have you guys herd of a similar bill here in TN? TN HB 1796? Its already law and the ATF has bullied up against anyone threatening there power. From the chatter I read here it is like the damn bill is worthless. No one will challenge it outright. I believe TN is waiting for other states to get on board for a SCOTUS hearing. Or the folks here just don't want to be the first one to go down. If its the latter I have to say I understand were they are coming from.
Tennessee did have a similar law passed. The ATF sent out a blanket letter to all FFL's reminding them that they were still accountable to federal law.
Wyoming will probably cave with Federal funding for highways since they have been doing so since 1998/1999. That was when they changed the drinking and driving law. Unfortunately I see the "stand up citizen" doing time.
