Go aimpoint.. The eotech I bought 2 months ago the reticle won't adjust windage or elevation after 500 rounds . Have handle the aimpoint and the fact it is more rugged than the eotech plus can leave on for 3 years. I just purchased one for 399 for my new colt 6720. Need to zero both over the 4th

Personally I have now owned both. One day ColoCCW brought out an SBR with an aimpoint on it. I tried it next to my eotech. I sold the eotech and went aimpoint. Why? not for the battery life, not for the robust housing or looks. I liked the smaller dot much better compared to the giant ring with dot. But, I am not doing close in work. I may like the eotech better for close in cqb, but out here at longer distances I think the small single dot of the aimpoint is better.

Aim point looks better/shoots faster on target to me. However, the mount sucks.
I spent an additional $140 on a bobro mount (which I love) after the stock mount crapped out in a class. It loosened up and went all jiggly midway through the day. fyi
Compared to a t-1 with a bobro from G and R tactical for $670, the PRO is $365 delivered plus $140 for a better mount = $510

So, the real question, as I see it, is whether you want a 30mm (PRO) tube or a 20mm tube (Micro) that costs about $150 more, after you consider the possibility of a better mount for the 30mm tube.
Personally, I have both and like the "smallness" of the micro. Both look about the same to me, and the micro is altogether smaller and less "complicated". YMMV
