Have you heard of the white firefighter case where they tried to sue for reverse discrimination? That's my biggest issue.
Yeah, I read about the case. There were 18 fire fighters that passed the test. 17 were white, 1 was Hispanic. The Fire Department decided to throw out the test results because not a single black person passed the test to qualify for a management position.
I feel like I can't make an informed decision on the results because I haven't seen the test, and don't know which answers were missed. If all the black people missed the same set of questions, but those questions didn't have anything to do with how they would handle the job, I'd say it was a test that should have been scrapped.
I really have a hard time believing there was some test question that only white people would know, that would some how be on a firefighters test though. This isn't some cultural trivia. The other thing that bothers me is how often do they change the test, compared to how often no black people passed the test? If the test was unchanged for 5 years, and only one year NO black people passed, then that doesn't seem like anything but coincidence to me.
The ruling certainly looks fishy, but I don't have enough info to comment.
When she gives a speach at Berkley and states in a prepared statement that Hispanic Females can rule and judge better than a White male. This is racist.
If a white male judge had said the same thing in reverse he wouldn't even be allowed on the court lawn, not alone the fucking bench.
That was prepared statement. Not a slip of the tongue.
She is not fit. And yes I would have the same opinion of anyone who made a sexist or racist comment like that who wants to sit on the countries highest bench!

I wouldn't argue that is racist, but I haven't seen where she said that. So far you are doing a great job backing up your own beliefs. I certainly can't say that you hate her for no reason. Like I said before, I have next to zero knowledge of her, so I don't have enough to form an opinion.

I re read my last post and it didn't seem clear to me. When I said, "I wouldn't argue that is racist," I meant that I would agree with you that her comment WAS racist. I wanted to clear that up.
