No matter how many dollar bills I throw at my carry gun, it refuses to be "exotic".
I used to carry a Baby Eagle in 9mm. That's about as exotic as it gets for me. I stopped carrying it because it felt like I had a Buick on my hip.

Probably the most expensive setup I've concealed but I don't know about exotic for a TRP Operator.

That being said I prefer the opposite end of the spectrum from 'exotic' for carry purposes. There are few exotics that fit the role better than ~$500 firearms.
This may qualify as exotic today, but not 100 years ago, and no I dont feel undergunned with 6 rounds of .32-20.
