Let that Vet from TX take care of it
I have 275RLTW address if you need it.
Offer them to Bert. Every time I go by his place he has more animals.
Sparky,
you do know why it is called a CATapult don't you ?
Normally I'd say smoke em...but if they are feral, I have a farm they can go to and live wild killing mice and actually live a good life. Pm me if interested
We have a feral barn cat. Rescued off the road as a kitten, he was hit by a car. Sleeps in the house at night. He can be petted, if you ask him first. Just be careful, he brings critters in the house. He hides from strangers.
Best coyote bait there is.
Put them in a cat carrier and suspend it from a tree limb.
Once they start fussing, the coyotes come running. Never in any real danger.
Or, I could use another mouser at our place in the mountains.
Our barn cats only eat food that's dry on the outside and wet in the middle.
Our cat was a feral kitten from the animal shelter here......apparently they get lots of feral cats in Leadville. He was a little sketchy when we got him (when he got scared you could see the wild in his eyes lol) but he's cool now and plays with the dogs and acts like the kids baby. A lot of the strays end up as barn/shop cats from what I gleaned but they're still domestic animals, and with time and patience most can be civilized I think. Anyways I'd say give them to someone who wants to work with them or use them as a mouser, or take them to a shelter (if you don't want to keep them) - there isn't any reason to kill them (unless they're packing the rabiez lol)
Here's a pic of our kitty when we first got him home
