Wow, a few more people got banned for ad stomping. That mod doesn't like people posts in his forum.
Trying to put it together here. So, someone else posted an ad and referred to 'banana clips', you posted the photo as a fun poke, and you got banned. Correct?
Humor is our savior. To me, if I got it right, you did a gentle poke with some educational potential. I totally understand wanting to run a site with some fairly strict gentlemanly conduct rules, but that's a bit over the top.
I got suspended from a site a while back too, but unfortunately am not sure why. The webmeister didn't respond to my request for what I did. I suspect I got plowed on martinis, got online and was an ass to someone. The point is, I'm sure the site was totally justified in suspending my account--just a little irksome that they won't even tell me what the infraction was after a long run of good behavior. But, they don't have to, it's their site.
I refrain from correcting folks on the 'clip' 'magazine' thing tho...there are so many more important points of firearms that most folks need to get first. Such as finger, muzzle, loaded, etc.
Ok, I think we all get the point. This thread has served its purpose.
