I'd bet money the photos are real. It's a big fawkin' moose and a small ATV trail. People are just too quick these days to scream "Photoshop!" or go running to Snopes, like it's some big victory to prove that a photo isn't real or what someone said is wrong.

I've seen a fair number of moose in Alaska, Canada, and here in Colorado. If, that second shot is unretouched and the tracks on that road represent vehicle tire tracks, it has to qualify as a record of some type.
I tried to look up info on record moose but they base everything off the antlers so there wasn't any mention of size or weight. Seems the big ones have antlers over six feet wide. If the one in the picture has a six foot spread he looks to be pretty damn big

Forget the size. The lighting and color is what gives away the 'shop.
I kind of thought that at first. Especially the second picture. But the first picture looks pretty good to me so figured the second picture was just crappy because it was a cell phone or trail camera picture or something.Quote:
