SWAT standoff in Fort Collins (in progress as-of 12/7 12:37pm)

I'm just glad the SWAT team got a little practice in today. One day there could be a situation where they are really needed.

Then the family sues for not helping her deranged state of mind.

A similar standoff happened in Arvada many years ago and apparently when guy with gun to his head threatened to shoot himself one of the officers did call his bluff and said to just do it. The gentleman then took the advice and guidance from the officer and killed himself. The city paid out I believe but not exactly sure.

That was why I protected the officers from liability by having them notify the family ahead of time. I'm super sure that would work.

Once again the educated among us show their knowledge not only on guns BUT, actually read the article.

Also, this brings up the topic. How are those criminals getting access to GUNS???? With her obvious mental health issues and criminal background???? I'm not against law abiding citizen's having GUN'S. IF criminals have free access to guns this country is in HUGE TROUBLE!!!!!
