Shit. I have duramax, should I have a pair too?

Only if you want to hit up the really narrow trails. You could buy a fat bike as well.
Grrr slowly crawling along with this project...................... I have no patience, but money dictates.
I had already gotten my frame brackets, Recovery shackle brackets, and Receiver mount.
Still need to get my weldable nuts and the actually 3x3 1/4 wall square tube.
Before I can continue forward as I need the measurements for the square tube and to make sure the recovery shackle plates will work the way I want it to, I need to get my frame brackets installed. That is a very simple job, but requires me to enlarge the factory frame holes from 7/16 to 9/16, which in itself is also not a hard job at all, IF I HAD THE RIGHT TOOL!
The area where the holes are to enlarge is right above the front Radiator frame support so my cordless drill is TOO BIG to get in there to drill them out. I need to borrow an angle drill or a universal angle drill attachment.
Anyone near Broomfield have an angle drill?
I have a right angle air drill if you have a compressor. It's only a 3/8" chuck though, so getting a 9/16 drill with a 3/8 shank might be a challenge, unless it's a step.
Or if you have a compressor I have a right angle die grinder and burrs to make any hole or shape you want!
Let me know if any of these help. I'm heading out of town early Thursday morning.
Sounds good bud.
With the help of Jay aka "meatman" (lives super close) I manage to get to Stage 2 of my front hitch / winch multi mount. Which is initial assembly/welding of the main pieces for measurements for the 2" receiver, mounting tests and cutting my front bumper to clear everything.
Attachment 64898
Attachment 64902
The plastic bumper all cut out to accept the front hitch;
Attachment 64903
Now got to mark where to cut out the main section for the 2" receiver, but need to find a way to cut it out nice and clean. Once that is done, then weld it in, clean it up and paint before mounting.
Anyone near Broomfield with a Plasma cutter that will cut 1/4 wall I can use for 5-10 minutes to cut out were the receiver will go? [Beer]
