Terrorists attack in Belgium

I wonder how the left will try to use this for more gun control - and how we could possibly argue against it. 30 concealed carriers in the area wouldn't have prevented anything. Good people can only react, and it's hard to react to a bomb detonating in your face. Active shooters are one thing, but how long before ISIS puts a VBIED in a major US city?

I've been saying this for years. How long until they bring the tactics from the streets of Kabul, Jalalbad, Baghdad, Sadr City, etc and start using them here? Sure some of the explosive materials aren't as easy to acquire, but the freedom of movement around our country- once they're here- is unhindered. I'm kind of surprised we haven't had more Paris-style, or even San Bernadino kind of attacks. Something tells me they're still waiting until they're much stronger before doing more attacks.

Honestly, there are tons of readily available things to construct bombs from at every hardware store. It doesn't take a genius, and you can probably find really simple instructions on the internet. We can't change that (and we shouldn't). This is a war of ideas and moral standards. We can't win by limiting people's liberty. We can only win by maximizing people's liberty and strong politically incorrect education of the type of war this is.

Everyone should remember the attack at LAX in 2002 at the El Al ticket counter. It's happened here outside of the 9/11 attacks. I say over and over that we don't know how many we've stopped here-only a rare few are publicized (the Times Square car bomb for one).

Well, I don't know who carried out these attacks. The JV team is contained. Couldn't have been them. Probably white, gun-owning, conservative males posing as muslims.

And don't forget - they were probably clinging onto their bibles while doing it...

Since every current politician keeps saying, "we are not at war with Islam" or "we cannot go to war against a religion," can we go to war against Sharia as a political system - just as we went to war against Communism not that long ago?
Just change the language, then fire the cruise missiles, and deport the Sharia sympathizers.
