Just buy one without GPS, problem solved. As much driving as you do, you would be dumb not to get one for $50.

There's been a discussion of dash cams on the Survivalblog site (James Wesley Rawles' site), and he recommends the Z-Edge Z3 Full HD cameras. He uses two, one front-facing, one driver/driver-window facing.

My thought is you want both: front-facing and driver side coverage...
Then just get one with two cameras
I get front/back. Why drivers side? Wouldnt any argument for that also say why not passenger window and every other angle?
I ordered the second one suggested and it arrived today. I'll let everyone know how we like it. The Z3 one is also one of the top rated ones.
I just use my GoPro mounted to my windshield.
