Give it away, OR since you seem nervous doing that. Throw it in the chop saw. Then dispose of real fast. Keep a chopped down SG laying around, who knows what trouble one might encounter.

I'm one of those people that believes no gun is ever to far gone to not still have a purpose in life. All guns are a form of art to me. If I ever found a gun that was absolutely in such bad shape that function was out of the question I would make something out of it. I would likely build a floor lamp out of an old long gun. But that's just me and it would go with the decor of one of the rooms in my house.
If you are afraid to give it away depending on the condition of the stock I might even pay you something for it, plus I have a C&R license.
Make a lamp out of it.
