Never met the guy, but I heard he's kinda grumpy. Especially since his wife died.

He earned his nickname from his dragon-inspired bicycle (pictured) that he fashioned in the 1970s in New York at his brother's motorcycle shop, affixing a dragon's head to a Harley Davidson
Umm no, The shop was his, may have been in his brothers name. His brother worked there and they built (Mike) a dragster. Which Mike ran till he crashed, then got out of it. Mel built a couple dragon mc's for a few people beside himself.
This mornings Gazette article says they have 2 of the culprits.
Claims all the guns and MG's were recovered.
Mel also says he knows the 2 of them.
Camera footage on the news is fairly low resolution, showed the truck being backed thru the fence and garage door, maybe the inside cameras had better pictures.
They show the guys running out with arm loads of guns, they were pretty well covered up.

Something motivate the police to actually solve that one, eh? [mop]
Maybe it is because it is 3.3 miles from Schriever Air Force base. Place looks like a prison with double razor wire topped fences from the inside. Break inside there and you will most likely be killed.
I was just sent that Camron Specht was one of the suspects arrested, supposedly Mel has a son named jesse Specht who is a known criminal here in Pueblo, so Camron could be his family as well as that is not a common name, i'm not sure though. ETA: I just found out he worked there as well.
Facebook pretty much shows suspect is a thug. I wonder how long it will take his lawyer to remove/remake his facebook.
