Anyone know how to catch Koi? (big goldfish)

Yes a fish weir

Koi = carp
Boilies, corn soaked in pineapple juice, worm on the bottom. I.e. Typical carp baits

I had kinfolk who would run a large swine between two John boats. It was all fun and games until a ten foot alligator gar got snarled up in it.

ray, my second suggestion is a seine net. The other is a fish weir, a one way type of shallow water passive live trap.

I don't believe I've heard the term "kinfolk" since I moved to the metro area, and that was nearly 13 years ago.

Feed 'em and use a large net.

They bite on corn. Can be caught on a fly rod.
