I haven't dealt with the guy but have one of his mounts. He does excellent work and has a good rep on the 1919 forum. I know he was going through some personal stuff which may still be going on.
Anyway glad you got your mount. I will try and post up a pic of the tripod I built off of his design. Nothing better then shooting a 1919a4 while standing or sitting in the lawn chair.
The opinion of him on the 1919 forum was actually less than stellar (pretty sure he's banned) when I posted there looking for one of these. In the end I'd say he's honest but eccentric and makes a great product.Quote:

That was the only pic I had of the whole tripod. Above is the finished product of the pintle/t&e setup.
I maybe able to build another after I finish up a couple of other projects.
