Denver Public Schools discussing removing SROs?

All these new ideas that Democrats are shooting around for blue cities, hey I am all for it. From what I have seen they are mostly in cities that are already controlled by all blue politicians. Yeah sure liberal cities, let's defund the police department, or in this case pull cops away from schools. I don't live there so I think I would like to see how that works and watch from afar. Sucks for sane people that live there but once it fails you may get new leadership to fix the smoking hole in the ground that is left over.

They need another bad incident at a school so they can push for more gun control. Combine that with using the money to fund more social justice programs and handouts and you get proposals like this.

This might be a very/extremely unpopular stance, but here are my 2 cents.


I will favor no SRO, if we bring back the CORPORAL PUNISHMENT AT SCHOOL.

The best way to protect kids in school is to have trained, armed men guard them.

I think they should double the number of SRO's and would support the collection of taxes to pay for them.

Unfortunately, what happens in the biggest blue city in this state pretty much defines what we all have to live with.
