Every single firearm sold by a gun shop in Colorado is done with the consent and approval of the state of Colorado. Can't we sue the state for their poor decision process?

Fair question.
If they pass this law (and they will) and case law is set from it, can we then sue the various manufacturers of Yoga pants for their products not being used as they were intended (we've all seen the 5'4" 300lb woman in yoga pants make for a woman half her size and eeewwww! Plus, we should also be able to sue these same manufacturers for the woman who are using the product as intended, yet causing undo hardship on us men (see what I did there?).
Oh, I see what you did there. Yoga pants, stretch.
Yes, I was stretching the concept of the idea of holding someone who did nothing wrong/illegal accountable for the actions of someone who did. While my point was extreme it points to the question of "how far do you take this once you've crossed the line?".
Waiting for the 1st story of a domestic abuse victim killed while waiting for her force equalizing protection tool.
Criminals don't wait. Suicidal people will find another method.
Imagine if you had a waiting period to vote after registering, or making a speach.
With their majorities, I'm sure all of these will pass . . . and Polis will sign them. And, not surprisingly, they won't do a thing to prevent criminals from doing criminal things and so more laws will follow.
Really sad where this state has gone thanks to the influx of morons and their whackadoo ideas. The only faint hope I have is that they start going off the rails even further on all manner of legislation and enough people who aren't pudding-minded socialists wake up. But it sure looks like the full Californication of CO is well on its way. Feelings trump logic with far too large a chunk of society.
They don't want your kids or any other kids to have that opportunity.
You'll be waiting a long time. The Leftist media won't print or air such a story. They don't want any stories that contradict "The Agenda" out there. Cruz was relating how the Dems were pushing a bill to allow the MSM to form syndicates without violating anti-trust laws "to protect small newspapers from Big Tech aggregating their content'. He said he put an amendment in to remove any protections if they engaged in mutual censorship and told the Dems he'd actually vote for and support the bill with his amendment. The bill's own cosponsor voted against her bill.
How fo these waiting periods work? Does the background check sit in a que for 3 days before sending notice to the FFL? Or is the check still done immediately and the FFL hold the firearm?
Gun show sales would effectively die.
Or we could just to Cheyenne and skip the wait.
Democrats have controlled both houses of the legislature and the gov's office before in the fairly recent past. That's how magazine capacity limits and other nonsense became law. Again...nothing new here for democrats. When they assume power, they use that power.
