Is .22lr ammo suddenly more valuable?

I got a few thousand, but I would like a heck of a lot more.

I agree, you can never have enough ammo, especially cheap plinking ammo. I'm still using up a load of Wildcats I bought at the CS Target many years ago when the Sporting Goods manager argued with me about the cost of a brick of Wildcats. I told him several times that a brick was ten boxes, he insisted the price was .79 a brick, who was I to keep arguing... I bought all he had left... Two 20mm ammo cans full...

22LR sucks to go up in price, but what the hell happened to the price of 9mm? They want like $14/50 now.
