Thanks, but I'll drop that $21 at Cherry Creek and shoot there all day....half an hour is long enough for me to load up my mags and get myself organized...Quote:
RIFLE……. $21 PER HALF HOUR / PER PERSON

.....Time limits are used more as disclaimers. When we don't have people waiting at the door for a lane, you are more than welcome to stay as long as you want. If we do fill up, you always receive a 10 or 15 minute warning no matter how long you've had the lane....
still pricey.. but you always have to pay for convienience.
No wolf ammo, No reloads, no MG's .............F%$#K that place!!!!
I've never used the rifle range. Rifles get loud indoors, so I shoot them outside. I use the pistol range.
They do mention Wolf in their rules, but it was in relation to steel core ammo. If the tip of the bullet doesn't attract a magnet, you'll be OK.
It may not even be their policy. Its very possible that they implemented it because its their insurance companies policy. Besides, not gouging up their armor steel bullet trap system so that cheap asses can shoot their crappy 5.45 or leftover 7.63x39 seems perfectly reasonable to me.
Its a trade off, plain and simple. Want the comfort and convenience of shooting at a local location out of the heat and rain, but have to spend a bit for some decent ammo? Seems reasonable to me.
Funny how when it was K2 the insurance was not a problem. My wolf ammo never gouged up there bullet trap as I never tried to shoot steel core ammo. My wolf ammo is not steel core I have never owned any steel core ammo. I also would never attempt to damage their range by doing something so stupid.
Why don't you go out and spend 12-15K on an MG then try to feed it and get back to me on who is the cheap ass!
I don't do trade offs I want to shoot period. I am going to feed my guns what they need under the circumstances. I want to shoot reloads, factory ammo, wolf ammo and anything else I so desire with the exception once again that I would not shoot any ammo that would damage the range.
To each their own I don't mind a little inconvience to head for the hills to shoot. If I can't shoot in town I will shoot some place else either way I am going shooting.
I drive by green mountain everyday to and from work I lived at that place back when it was foothills. I would spend a lot of time and money in that place if they had a clue on how to run a gun range.
Easy guys lets not get personal over this...
