And that is the big myth to brass playing. If you are efficient with your airflow, there is no pressure!!! The secret to successful brass playing is efficient air!

The only qualitive "pressure" that will exist with proper air supply is the pressure of the embouchure (lips) pushing against each other. There should be no other "pressure" in the throat, jaw, against the horn, etc.
