AT&T sucks. I live in the sticks and my iphone was searching for any kind of service. Att didn't seem to care at all. I ended up buying the 3G microcell. Now I have 5 bars of 3G at my house all the time. I wasn't thrilled about having to buy the microcell for $150, but our contracts aren't up for some time, so I guess it was worth it.
I love my iPhone, but AT&T really does suck. I'll be watching how the Verizon one does. I'll also be curios to see the data plans from V.
ok, after reading about the microcell on Colowyo post, I have questions. Does verizon have something like this? Does anyone have any experience with the antennas and boosters they sell that increase your homes signal? Like Colowyo, I live out away from the city(thank God), but I could use my phone occasionally if I had coverage. Plus, if I could get the verizon to work, then I could get the iphone and or droid and ditch my home internet service.

maybe something like this?
microcell for $150 i guess is the only way to go. I am out in the sticks on the ridge top the only time i get a bar is when a plane flies over ??? but if i walk east 50 yards i get 1-2 bars. It is all a joke because i am in the coverage zone and it don't mean diddle
got mine today, added it to my ever growing apple collection. now if they ever get flash, i'll give microsoft the total boot...

Nice, how do you like it?
Ill be ordering mine on the 10th. I am so sick of AT&T. What other iPhone is that? What kinda iPad do you use?
Am i the only person that does not like Steve Jobs?
Sure the dude is a genius. but his elitist attitude annoys me greatly
If you have good at&t service like me or the $150 micro tower works then go with at&t. I've had mostly good luck with them and you can talk and get data at the same time. I use that a lot. Like when my wife calls with traffic problems I can look at the traffic maps and talk at the same time. Just my opinion. I've had mostly good performance with at&t which also has a faster 3D connection than venison. As long as you have good service. Just saying Verison isn't the perfect solution.
