Thats one nice thing about the 5.7x28 rnd. Not many people own one. So I go to a Basspro, Cabela's or other store, every one else graps .223, 7.62x39, 9mm, 40 sw, 45 acp, Etc Etc. And I get all the 5.7. Not to mention AR-57 has 50 rnd mags and the FNH has 30 rnd mags!! Zombie kill after Zombie kill!! [Tooth]

5.7 is not a rifle cartridge. it is a shitty pistol cartridge. I know they are fun to shoot just like everything else but not really a great man stopper. If you want to make it your man stopper go for it.

i believe there are 2-3 members here included in that equation, more if i go out 1 mile.

the lightest one and mags, already loaded. this neighborhood has a lot of shooters 2-3 board members within 1/2 mile radius if that.

Oh dont get me wrong! I have all the stand by guns as well!! 9,40,45,454,500sw, etc. But as far as a man stopper. Thats the choice of the Govmt. Secret Service. With AP rnds. Go through Bullet proof vest of most any kind!

Secret service does protection detail. There job is not to kill people. The effective use and employment of a carbine in that regard is out to at most 50m. Everything after that is and will be covered by marksman with bolt guns. Hiding places are great Toothless grin. Sorry to get in a conversation about calibers. I will stick to the important answer to the original question. Grab all of your guns and ammo.

AK-47 when absolutely have to get the family out of town and away from stadiums no matter what.
