Train- train- train. Be ready to defend yourself against? whatever happens.
Yeah, you're correct sneakerd. I guess just my range time isn't enough to be considered training. I need to get started on some training this winter.
And, equally as important, don't put yourself in situations such as this. I've found that for the years I've carried I've been FAR less likely to need my firearm than I had in the years leading up do to an increased sense of situational awareness and know when to avoid certain areas or situations. This goes along the lines of walking softly but carrying a big stick.
We should build a wall between the US and Islam.
I'm curious what happened to those guys... did they press assault charges on the security guards? I would have. The end of the video they approached the real cops and complained that they were assaulted. What constitutes assault? I'm an amateur film-maker and if someone hits my $1500 camera does that constitute assault? Also, what if they break said $1500 equipment? Can I press charges? I would certainly try since that's my hard earned money, and I think it would fall under criminal destruction of property. I wouldn't go to a Muslim deal wearing a blatant christian shirt, but I would like to get a vid of some questions being answered, and no instigating, just harmless asking of questions.
Seems to me like this is just another reason I own firearms, for when they do try to make sharia law our law I can stand up and die like a man than live in submission on my knees.
I agree these situations shouldn't be happening but it's pretty obvious they were there looking for trouble. They found it. Their objective when they set out was the create this situation. Mission accomplished. Things could have gone MUCH worse than they did and while they may have been 'right' they could have been injured or worse.
Again I disagree to a point. They did create the situation, but did they really do anything wrong? If Muslims came to a Christian convention and did the same thing, and were treated the same...it would be all over the news. And if things went MUCH worse as you pointed out, wouldn't that prove the Christians points that much more? The whole thing is flawed is my point, that they can't go there to a 'peaceful religion' and ask questions without punkass Muzzie kids and security guards ganging up on them. Its so fucked that our cops are too afraid to do anything to them, but will gladly fall down and appease the masses of the muslim attendees who obviously violated more than a few rules/laws. Its just sad to hear people even say, well they shouldn't have been there they were obviously there for trouble, we should just avoid it all. This was America. Muslims can hold a convention, Christians should be able to go and ask questions peacefully as they were. Thats all I'm saying. We keep avoiding the problem like this and how our government and cops do...we will have a bigger problem than we know.
