For entertainment, I absolutely love MMA. Was active in it and had a pretty good record for 7 years, till I signed my first contract with the Army and decided I didn't want to risk an injury... same reason I stopped riding bulls.Quote:

Andersen is a bad man, he is getting older but he doesn't take damage in fights. He seems to train right, you don't hear about injuries in training camp like all the other fighters these days, so I don't see any reason why he can't fight for 10 more years unless he gets bored. I really only see about 6 fights that make sense for him though, Stann and Sonnen are both going to get a shot. I think Sonnen should get the first chance because he did work over Silva pretty well but I really don't think that did anything but wake Silva up and I don't think Stann is quite ready yet. And maybe Leben, he has improved a ton since that loss to Silva. Then I think its up to 205 for Silva, I think Shogun would be a good start, then Rashad or Jon Jones, then the other. I think the UFC going Back to Brazil next year will be the only chance we have to see St Pierre vs Silva, it will give St Pierre a chance to bulk up and maybe get a warm up fight at 185. I'm afraid that the St Pierre Silva fight could be a boring fight, Silva likes counter striking, I don't think Georges' jab them to death gameplan will work against Silva. I don't think Georges has that killer extinct right now, he seems to be fighting not to lose lately. That may change after the Diaz fight, I don't think Diaz will win but he will take the fight to Georges and hopefully beat him a little to bring out that killer instict he used to have.

Above is a local champ, Brandon 'Rukus' Thatch. I hype the guy because he is a cool, down to earth guy and a good buddy. He's amped right now because he won an AR for winning Ring of Fire 41. We are going to go blast it this upcoming labor day weekend if anyone wants to join.
Also, a guy I went to high school with Tyler 'Thunder' Toner fights out of Aurora and is coming up.
