(Me - 38 yrs) Lets see...I have been happily married for 8 years and we we have been together for 14 yrs:

internet porn - of course your now married!
guns - she is not a fan but yes
beer - a 12 pack in the fridge as we speak
(this one hurts) xbox - I was a PS3 guy, played when my wife and kids went to bed, but when my daughter (then 5) said "this is all you do", I sold it, that was her perception even though I only played when everyone was in bed.
ammo - yes
football - this was tough early but now she is in fantasy fooball with me so it's a joint effort.
self inflicted dutch oven - actually last night (LOL)
Ballistol - don't have it
Senselessly eating anything and whenever - I have become a bit more healthy since married, especially since the metabolizism is much slower from the college days.

Yes, it's called compromise...and when I say compromise I mean whatever she says goes (j/k). It's doesn't all happen in the first few years. Congrats on the marriage and new family!

Not married, no rush to do so... but from what my friends say- find common ground. One of my very good buddies is 34 been married for 14 years, been with her since Sophomore year of high school, have two kids aged 15 and 10, and they all go shooting, video gaming, and to movies multiple nights a week (well movies usually fridays, and shooting on the weekends- but games 2-3 nights a week- they're hooked on NHL 2011). He is very happily married and his wife was diagnosed with (no joke here) acute nymphomania, so after the kid-o's go to bed it's sexy time! I can't make this shit up, she wants it at least 3x a day. He's perhaps the happiest man I know. I just wish she had a twin sister because she certainly is one of the best mom's I know, person and looks.

I've been with my lady for two and a half years now. We've got our Nugget and while life could be better, I couldn't imagine it without either of them.

I hardly drink anymore. I don't go out. I don't waste money on stupid shit. They've done more to improve me as a person then all the crap I did in the years prior.
