Intellectual equivalence

Dear Amy, my sister insists on bringing her black boyfriend to family gatherings. My Grandmother doesn't like ni***rs in the house and has asked her not to bring him anymore, so my sister says if he isn't welcome she won't come over for Christmas. Should I tell her to lighten up and show up without him?

Dear reader, I shared your letter with a spokesman from the Ku Klux Klan and he responded with the following statistic; "Most violent crimes in America are committed by young black males." So your sister may think she's in love but in reality its just a little jungle fever and once she gets tired of being abused she'll settle down with a nice white boy. Just be thankful he's not a Jew.

Of course, for all we know, the guy in question may be insisting on carrying an AR or a shotgun over his shoulder on a sling.

you know, i have a lot of anti gun people in my family/friends. i always as them what they think would go through their mind if a guy or group of guys broke in with a weapon and you had nothing. nada. zilch. absolutely no chance whatsoever. oh and imagine youve got a child at home with you that you now have no way to protect. what say you now?

usually, they have no response. you see, anti gun people are weird in that they only think about guns in peace time when everything is all nice and good. they wonder, why does anyone need a gun? most pro gun people think about worst case scenarios and would rather be prepared their entire life for the unlikely versus become a statistic. of course you wouldn't NEED a gun if no one ever got murdered, robbed, assaulted, etc. im pretty sure anyone in who has been a victim had at least a moment of thinking "boy i really wish i had a gun right about now"

Ive said it 100 times to certain friends and family. Its better have and not need than to need and not have.

And it's not always a break-in or home invasion to worry about. Lots of people get attacked when they're outside the house saying goodbye to someone who's leaving, and a couple of homies come out of nowhere to rob the whole bunch. And maybe even take Grandpa's nice new Caddy too.

Actually that's the LAST thing you really have to worry about.

Often these people will say something dumb like "why do you think you'll need a gun at [x safe location]?" But since we don't have Star Trek style transporters yet you still have to move through the space between your home and [x safe location] maybe stopping for gas or some other reason along the way.

Just because Grandma lives in a very safe neighborhood and all your family members are kind, sane, non-violent people doesn't mean that you're not going to drive through da hood to get there (and ya know hood people do leave da hood occasionally).

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention[Help] what a joke do we all have a Disease that need's to be controlled [Tooth]
