What do you guys think of flu shots?
I've never had one.
I'm "required" to get one every year since I'm in the military, but manage to sneak out of it about half the time. I had to get H1N1 back in late 2009 (or maybe it was early 2010) and I almost got in trouble for trying to refuse it (something about refusing a lawful order or some crap like that). I personally don't take any medications unless I absolutely have to, especially antibiotics.
Is that the one where it's tetanus and some other vaccine mixed together? I got one like that earlier this year. Made my arm hurt like a mofo.
My personal favorite is the anthrax vaccine. Eff that.
Bimbolina also claims she "cured" her kid with diet. No gluten blah blah blah so I really cant believe a word that comes out of her mouth. Unless of course the words are " do me again like that"
I took the actual time to see what it is that this is all about... She clinged onto this guy in the UK's report from a while ago that she dug up:
In the Uk, gastroenterologist Andrew Wakefield held a press conference and filed a report that said the MMR shot caused fluid leak from the gut. The poisonous liquid then leaked into the blood stram, and caused havoc, leading to autisim. He was then shut down by the UK government.
Her second thing she grasped onto was the US government report on the DTaP, and the Hib shot, that said each of the shots had a lot more mercury than anyone had previously though. Many people in the medical field said they contained dangerous levels, especially to the infants they were giving it to (those were the shots they gave your babies when they were born).
There are tons more tests however stating evidence saying that there is not link to her original arguement that the MMR causes autism. She still goes on though. She did however have what she thinks is her evidence that linked the two. She didn't go into it blind on her own whim.
The Obummer remark was just stating that if you are going to do your homework on one thing, you should do it on the rest. I now know what she was arguing about, and why. I also now know that she has been proven wrong over and over again by many different studies, both gov. funded, and non gov. funded, and on a few different continents.
