I'd be happy if all properly trained pilots were armed but I think the airlines should cover it. I'd rather them raise my ticket price a buck then have an agency dolling out more money via some bureaucracy and then mandating with some useless standard compliance guidelines.

The whole problem with our system is that security targets objects rather than people in the name of PC.

There are plenty of people who paid for their own POST certification while going to the community college. I'm just sayin'
