Yes we have to do it now because it take 4 days to drive there and back and she HAS to be back Saturday for a planning party. So she expected me to miss work get the truck and go with her. I wouldn't mind the road trip but the timing is all messed up.

She want's your help, do it on your time. You're broke and cars down, again. Then you're willing to loose your job? I hope shes the best piece of ass every put on this planet, because you are about to loose yours.

I guess your boss already knows he's going to place a Help Wanted ad in the am, unless he already did it.

Those are the reasons I told her I couldn't go. She is like me and doesn't get told no to much. Not for the same reasons though. I just make a fair deal and she holds her breath until she gets what she wants.
This isn't Arkansas. There is no ass trading involved. Just being a nice brother. But I am not risking work for her. She is SOL until I have the time.

Family...friend...best friends mother....aunt....doesn't matter. Anyone who expects you to lose your job, steal a car, and travel across the US because they cannot be bothered to miss a party planning meeting isn't your friend. They are selfish and will leave you laying in a gutter without anything once they are done bleeding you dry of everything they can get out of you.
