What do you think chances are Obama will be beat?

I don't care.

The system does not represent me, my interests, or my beliefs. It only exists to dictate to me how I should live and behave according to others beliefs.

Public land use restrictions.
firearms restrictions.
drug prohibition.
Alcohol restrictions.
Insurance meddling.
Welfare expansion.


These are all things that BOTH parties have overseen. Even if one party doesn't agree with the other party on these issues, they don't have enough gumption to curb the behavior of the other party, even when they have the majority. Screw them. Shame on everyone for perpetuating this ongoing farce of "choice".

What do you propose that would actually fix it?

I put it at 50/50 right now.

I can't trust what either candidate says he is going to do.

I don't trust anything obama has said or says he did.

I don't trust the media

I don't trust the polls

I question the electoral college.

I wonder what underhanded schemes ACORN types will pull this year and I only hope, even though it is dropping to their level, that the GOP does a better job of it and gets obama out.

I will cautiously predict a Romeny victory, but by very slim margins.

To fix it? The media has the power to direct the electorate. Instead of steering us toward progressivism, socialism and statism, they could be the actual guardians of freedom that they were touted to be in the beginning. No violence necessary.

You are right though. People who are comfortable will not revolt, they have too much to lose.

When it come down to it for me its the media that is making me the most frustrated. I used to believe the media was one of the guardians of freedom. Sadly now they are guardians of deceit. If the media and Obama are successful what personal gain is there for the media to be what they are doing? Is this all a plot to overthrow our traditions and establish new ones with a whole new goverment? Are these so called journalist looking at this election as a chance to be governing members of the power elite of the new government ? If true can you imagine what targets many of us would become for such people? We are in some bad times these days. Sorta teetering on the edge of a cliff. Either way we are in for some interesting times coming up, hopefully not the end times.
