After the Spectre's, I bought an SWR Trident (9mm). After that, an SRT-Shadow-Ti, after that....well, there were more- these things can get addictive but if I had it all to do over, I'd get a good take-apart .22 can and that'd be it.
My hearing is important to me and I've yet to hear a centerfire rifle can that I'd happily shoot all day, with supersonic ammo, without additional hearing protection.
Yes, I know, there will now be 25 posts from people saying "well, MINE is hearing safe!". Great, your ears, proceed as you wish. I own some nice suppressors and won't fire any but the rimfire cans naked-ear'd. If I'm going to wear hearing protection anyway, what's the point?! (disclaimer: I don't mow my lawn or run a chainsaw without ear plugs either)
