I do see your point that some types of ammunition possess better ballistic qualities than others. I do indeed carry Gold Dots in my CCW as opposed to the RNFP I punch paper with, for that very reason. Point conceded. I think the greater point of contention, and the reason some of us here take issue with the specific language used in the article is that it was completely unnecessary and obviously intended to demonstrate bias. Judging by the overall biased tone of the entire article, this particular phrasing would have been present regardless of the type of ammo used; they wouldn't bother to research it anyway.

That actually helps my case. JHP are illegal in war because they do too much damage to soft tissue.

I know they use inflammatory language, but it's no worse that what people here do when they have an opinion or on any right leaning news source as well. But this is all probably moot because I doubt the writer knows what kind of bullet was used, and for no real reason I am betting it was FMJ anyway. But that is the nature of any news source, right or left leaning.
