The battle was about political corruption on various levels including voter fraud. However it had nothing to do with the infringement of 2nd Amendment rights

The Battle of Athens (sometimes called the McMinn County War) was a rebellion led by citizens in Athens and Etowah, Tennessee, United States, against the local government in August 1946. The citizens, including some World War II veterans, accused the local officials of political corruption and voter intimidation. The event is sometimes cited by firearms ownership advocates as an example of the value of the Second Amendment in combating tyranny.[

The 2nd amendment was added because our founding fathers knew what government could do. That's why they made it.
The 2nd is about balance. How about whatever they ban from the citizens is also removed from every law enforcement agency arsenal across the country. Fed, state local. I can hear the hypocrite rats squealing already.
There were 59 precincts across the nation where there was not a single vote cast for anyone except obummer. You may believe that was legitimate but I don't. Here in Aurora you can now vote at any precinct, not just the one you live in. The Dems bussed people to that poll where Hickenlooper, Bennet and another person I don't recall fed them pizza and soda. The city had expected 1500 voters and got over 7000 at that location. The city is 30 percent black but that location had 70% black voters in Nov.
I guess we are getting some odd new members lately.
