I agree with not shooting it. I dont think its worth the risk since it is considered an endangered animal. last thing you need is legal problems or tree hugers coming to your property. but do agree that you should get a trail cam. i think having some proof that wolves are back would be nice to have.
Dang all my game cameras are up on the property near Wyoming otherwise I would gladly loan one to ya.
