Hmmm, now I wonder about our state trying to get one through.
Only because they know they don't have the votes.
Wait, I though D Feinstein is still waiting to present her bill.
I honestly believe we've got 'em running scared. Exposed. They'll take anything they can get. Which should be nothing. Let's continue pushing back. They tested the waters and are scared of what they saw. DF is so out of touch she'll continue to push but she's tainted now. Nobody wants to be connected to her right now. The overwhelming public response to these tragedies has been to buy more guns and ammo. They know where the votes stand.
I really believe her bill is going to be so extreme there is no chance for it to pass. I do agree that the mag ban is coming though and while I don't agree with it I think it's going to be difficult to stop it. Especially if they grandfather existing mags.
Now $1000 BCGs scare the crap out of me.
Sorry if under threat of prosecution I can't say what agency, name or anything else- and for the fact that is "as-yet-unreleased information". Next time you want to make a comment based on a idiotic opinion, go to FB. Quite obvious you have no idea how reliable, yet anonymous/secretive source information is. I'll give you a hint- it's partly responsible for a bearded guy who is responsible for the death of 3,000 Americans was found and taken out.
ETA: Bet you'll feel pretty stupid when the actual press release comes out and my source was correct...
Make that 28.
My thinking is that perhaps she introduced such an extreme bill so that she would have leverage to work out a compromise to keep both parties happy. Instead of outright banning all these "listed assault rifles" with mandatory turn-in, they could just require NFA tax stamps, restrict magazine size, grandfather, etc. Similar laws to what Commiefornia lives under. Coming out strong gives her the chance to lessen the measures described in the bill, but still infringe upon our gun rights. Just my thoughts.
Also some thoughts on confiscation. It would have to be federal agents getting paid a LOT of money going door to door. The govt is very outnumbered by the liberty loving gun owners of this nation. I'm in the WY Army National Guard and also have many LEO acquaintances, yet I can't think of a single person in such a position I personally know that would be willing to take away guns from civilian owners.
I for one will continue to push, and continue to push until there is no enemy.
