That's one of my main reasons for joining this forum. I've watched my husband on here for quite awhile now, and have even proofread countless posts of his. I like this community far more than the people I encounter everyday. I even get a bit of a kick out of the few a-holes. At least we have a common denominator. My dad, on the other hand, ugh ... I feel like we're only a few years from a breakthrough! We just need to keep chipping away at him with common sense, he'll come around, I just know it! My mom is coming along nicely, however. I'm taking her with me to my ccw class this weekend. Getting her certified and at least a bit more educated.
i know a few anti gunners but i would never call them friends . if you dont like firearms and the related history (including military) then talking to me will not work out well for you .
Protecting anti gun neighbors reminds of the couple times I stupidly mentioned that I keep food, water, guns and ammo stocked just in case something happens. All I get are the "hey, we're coming to your place then." All I can think, and want to do is [goFyourself] You don't want me having them in the first place, you want to deny me my rights, why should I protect yours?
When they come knocking, all you gotta say is "I'm sorry, I don't have a square to spare!" (Hehe, it reminded me too much of Elaine on Seinfeld)
Not sure I follow 'nads.......
I typically have no time to socialize and when I do have time I prefer to spend it with my wife, kids and inlaws.
They are forever.
I have "aquantances" that I may see now and then casually but "Friends" are something that I left behind in high school.
i couldn't imagine living with anti gun neighbors .
