Maybe it's just me but being a responsible gun owner who is in possession of a firearm I tend to go out of my way to AVOID these situations for fear that it could escalate knowing full well it would end with someone being killed. It seems to me that following someone home after a road rage incident would be the opposite of this. Assuming we have all the proper evidence (lord knows I've made 'judgments' in the past with evidence deliberately withheld) I hope they are punished HARD to make an example for the rest of us. The antis already think that this is how ALL gun owners respond to these incidents so the last thing I want is to give them 'proof' that they're 'right'. Most people I associate with do NOT look for confrontation because they're carrying and this is exactly what anti2A people think of us as a whole. Due in large part to incidents like this. Remember, it's not the times that violence against law abiding citizens is avoided thanks to firearms that's reported.
This guy just kicked all of us in the nuts.
I hope not a dime of anything I've donated goes to this guys defense. I feel bad for the wife... For many reasons, but I guess stupid gets stupid.
And now we get to pay for his lengthy trial and incarceration.
Idiot.
"Couple follows teens home after the teens had cut them off" Go looking for trouble, you got. Dumb shit!
I don't blame her for getting the gun upon seeing her husband getting his ass handed to him, but if it weren't for him she wouldn't have been put in that position in the first place.
Teens cut you off - nothing is damaged, no one is hurt -- pump your fist and say "damn kids, get the F off my lawn!" and move on like everyone else.
This guy took this way to far. Self control man. [dig]
