If anyone gets a Boulder Airlift mag and wants to trade it for a Free Colorado mag hit me up please!
In a note to this ...
Is Glendale Open Carry Friendly ?
The Manager of The Park I spoke with said they were going to allow carry. ( did not say concealed or not .. even mentioned guys with rifles .. so I think the park is cool with any of it )

If anyone can Confirm if open carry is legal in Glendale.. I'll call the park manager ( I got his card) and confirm the policies they are going to use for the event.
Registered and printed ticket. Have to work Saturday but will cut out early to attend. Good on Magpul for leading the way.
Saw coverage on 7 news about the event this morning. They referred to Magpul as an ammunition manufacturer. The banner under the talking head said Magpul was giving away free ammo. The talking head said that they were giving away 30 round magazines. [facepalm]It speaks volumes that there's nobody at that office that can do enough research to get it right.
Ticket printed. Calendar blocked. Will be coming home with at least 3 PMAGS (4 if I beat 1499 of y'all there! :-D )
Does Magpul rock something wicked or what?
Anyone have any idea what the expected turnout will be?
I have a feeling this is going to be a giant cluster f$%k.... Bunch of dirty lib protesters and the media coverage there to make everyone out to look like bad guys.
Anyone know if the mags you can pre-purchase at the http://freecolorado.net/ link are the boulder airlift, or free CO ones ? Kinda already have a lot of pmags thanks toe the DSG Arms X-Mas ale, but no special ones..
darn
From what I can gather, the (first) 1500 free PMAGS will be one of the Boulder Airlift or Free CO mags, but the ones on sale will be Gen 2.
You have a lot of PMAGS? The real question is: Do you have enough? (besides, MAGPUL donated all mags & the proceeds go to a good cause - the current lawsuit being one of them!)
I'll have 2 more pmags since my wife and I are both going and getting a mag a piece. Not likely to get there for the 1st 1500 freebies since I doubt she will want to wait around for long before the gates open. I had hoped Magpul would be selling some other items besides magazines, but still good of them to help put this on.
Or, the MSM will just flat-out ignore this event like they tend to do with most pro-2A events. Their famous ostrich act: 'Lets just bury our heads in the sand and pretend no-one out there actually supports that *evil* 2A' (just for clarity, by 'the sand' I totally mean 'our ass')
Think about it - how many libs protested (in any meaningful way) any of the previous big 'events' & what the media coverage was? Think about the 2A support turnout @ the capitol while these bills were being rammed thru - without the benefit of astrodglide I must add - I didn't see many libs there. Or the Sherriff's get together when Obama was here. The media was gushing over Obama (and his police props), but hardly a peep about the Sheriffs. The MSM doesn't want to show/acknowledge there is a lot of support for 2A.
Finally, I'd be surprised if any libs show up to (what I hope will be) an event as big as this. They are a bunch of wimps after all. I refer you to this awesome nugget: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/ar...cal-views.html
Ok one other question - when registering for the event - if I pick 3 PMags for $35 do I also need to pick the $5 general entry, or is that covered in the PMag Purchase?
Thanks for the info guys. Going to Epic Beer Fest on Friday so trying to decide if my hangover will be gone before I wold go to this. Can't handle 10,000 people with a raging hangover!
I'm sure this is what the left thinks will be going on:

Oh, and you'll recognize me from my "I carry a small gun to make up for my HUGE PENIS" t-shirt.
By the way, I heard them say on the Michael Brown show today that there's a limit of buying 5 magazines at the event. So, if you preordered 3, were one of the first 1500, and bought your limit, you could walk out with 9 total.
I got my NRA hat in the mail last night - but it sounds like I have to give that to cluublights...
The wife and I will be there... likely both nude so you should be able to spot us on our way to jail.
