Thanks to Monky for an update. My wife got a text from him last night. He is on a liquid diet now, not IV. Don't sigh in relief yet.
Shawna has done a great job on the GoFundMe site describing the situation. The goal is $19 large.
Rob is in his third week (sixteen days) at Skyridge and he is going to need financial, and emotional, support; if you want to contribute, drop off something at Bowers or the go fund me site. When he will be able to work is ??? Who pays the bills?
Some of us have serious bucks and have dropped a lot of money at Bowers. Now is a good time to drop some more, this time not on toys. Since none of you know me, I can tell you I just gave $1,000. Gun guys and gals are some of the best people around. Rob is a best of the best. How much is in your wallet for a friend in need?

Get better soon Rob, I'm sure I will have a bunch of broken stuff for you to fix once your up and running again.
Rob, people here want you back up and running so bad they started TWO separate threads!
Thanks to those who have contributed to GoFundMe.com, which his sister Jennifer set up. The fund is at $2600+. He is touched by your generosity. Thank you to all who have given. www.gofundme.com/rob_bonacci Some of the story of the past two weeks is there as well.
He is receiving visitors. Keep it short unless he is OK with longer. Rob is not comfortable. He's lost weight, since until today he was on an IV diet. He ate his first food, egg whites, in over two weeks. The irony is that Skyridge is known as "Spa Ridge" in part because the food is much above the usual hospital fare. Talk about getting gyped for his money!
Discharge date is unknown. Not even a best guess.

Good to hear he is doing well!
Hit, shared.
Get well soon.
Glad to hear of his improvement. Thanks for update.
Everybody hit the Gofundme site, even a little helps.

I helped with what I could right now. This is a good community and need to help each other out when the time calls.
Thanks for the update.
I've merged the 3 threads on Rob & his status. Let's use this one thread for updates.
It is a very good feeling to see the fund increasing the way it has.
Awesome.
Put my $.02 in. Get better Rob.
Just saw Rob at Bowers, where he helped get my rife in working order in no time. Welcome back Rob! [Beer]
The gofundme page is moving along nicely.

Glad your back at it Man!
Welcome back Rob
Sounds like a good time for my semi annual visit Glad your back Bro !
'Bout time lazy bones got back to work.
I kid; I kid.
I'm not close to Rob, but I've always thought a great deal of him. Aside from his skills/knowledge, he has always made me feel like a long time friend, not just a customer. When this thread started I'll admit I was really scared for him. I'm thrilled beyond measure that he's improving well enough to be able to go back to work.
I suspect that even though he's back to work he still has a long road to full recovery. I encourage everyone to reach out to him and help him if he can use it. I'm sure he'd also appreciate having folks stop by and remind him how much he means to this community. We are COAR and we take care of our own!
Stopped in today on my rounds just running around, Rob was out. Went back by a little later to bring home a new rifle and Rob was in. Great to see him, wit & sense of humor intact. A little bit toward making things right in the world.
I have heard that Rob is back in the hospital, can anyone else confirm?
Prayers sent....
I was at bowers Tuesday and that's what I heard as well from Mike
Rob has to undergo 2 more repairative surgeries associated with his original surgery. His surgery date is this Tuesday the 18th.
This information came straight from him last week.
Rob is a strong man and will battle through this successfully but everybody keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
Godspeed to you Rob, get yourself better.
We need you out here amigo[Beer]
Thoughts for successful surgeries along with a full and speedy recover to a great guy. Thanks BP for the futher info.
Prayers are going out for Rob, for the guidance of the surgeon's hands, and for a speedy recovery.
Thanks for the update BP I had been planning to go visit next week.
Sending positive vibes.
Stopped in to Bowers today, surgery is postponed for a bit to allow some meds to work first. Keeping a great guy in our thoughts shows what a really good group populates this forum.
