I like shooting clays. If the clays are in big chunks, just step on them to crush them. They'll break down faster.
I tried to post and let you guys know that I wasn't going to make it, but the site went down from the time I had typed my post and clicked the submit button.
Ahhh, So it's Your fault, Gearhead will be happy to hear that. [wink] [roll]
about 10 non members showed up when I was leaving

Sorry i missed the shoot, one of the kids got sick so i wasnt able to get up there this time. Looks like everyone had alot of fun.
I hauled a very full contractor garbage bag out ......
Would have done more but there was another group there sending a whole lotta rounds downrange and making me a little nervous with some of their gunhandling
I know what You mean, I got there early one time to do a little pick up, and some yahoo comes up and starts blasting away with me down range.
I guess I missed a few of your becuase I didn't get there until abot 13:20. I had to repair some wind damage to my mother-in-laws roof in the morning. Glad to meet those of you that were still there.
Special thanks to HunterCo for letting me shoot his M16, [postal] lots of fun!!!
I was also getting concerned with the gun handling of a few non-members.
I too took out more than I brought but it still looks like crap.
Yeah, thanks again to HunterCO and the guy with the AR-50 (A friend of a member, i think?) that was a blast.
Right as I was leaving, I nodded to the FS people that were there. I sarted puting my stuff in my trunk and heard BOOM <boom> <boom> as someone let loose with the .50 and it echoed off 3 sides of the canyon there. 3 seconds later someone let loose with the FA and I swear the FS people ran out of there.
[postal] [50cal]
Lol I was sitting across Hwy 7 in my truck warming it up, probably 300 yards from the range, and someone fired the .50.....I swear to god I felt my door panel vibrate. [roll]

Maybe we should plan on a 0900hrs pre-shoot clean-up in June (and the obligatory post-shoot pick your own mess up).
Also, I think we should make up Club t-shirts with the CO-AR15 logo on the BACK to identify "friendly" forces, and plan on wearing them to every organized shoot. I don't want to look like a tool out there like some family at Disney, but at least we won't look like every other yahoo, and will be identified as the responsible guys who are safe and tidy. It is (almost) free advertising and might encourage weekend warriors to join, be more responsible, and possibly seek some training. We did this at my last gun club (Northern Illinois Tactical) and it worked well. Just a thought.
