I've had a few transfers done there, never had any problems. They were always happy for my business....[Dunno]
fartknocker!
Seriously man- I'm pretty sure I know who it was, but I don't control other employees. I can only try to do my own damage control if possible.
Hope it all works out for you...
I know it should be common practice to show good customer service as an employee as they strongly represent the company, but it's also pretty common everywhere else to come across someone that is possibly having a heck of a day, and you probably ended up being a victim of this.. sh*t happens I guess... (believe me... I've seen some sh*t these guys go through too)
.. but for the past 2 years I've been dealing with'em... it hasn't been all to bad and certainly not the greatest experience[Coffee] but give'em a chance.. most of the guys in there are pretty freaken cool...
I've had a handful of transfers through them... and it's funny as hell! One of'em always complains "why don't you buy from us?!" I let'em know I'm just a cheap f*cker that's why [ROFL1]
If Mykey would just get a damn haircut, and not be such an islander hippie, we would give him more respect.......[Neene1][Sofa]
Thanks fellas, I certainly will give them a try. My GF bought a firearm from them a couple years ago, and she didn't have any complaints. Perhaps he was just having a bad day. I'll still update with my in-person experience. Should be getting the phone call tomorrow since it was delivered today.
Yeah, got to see who I talked to on the phone, I think that he probably is just an overall grumpy guy, maybe when I come back I'll bring him some homebrew to cheer him up.
Mike is nice like when the GF got her pistol. Apparently they go way back LOL. The other guy behind the counter (edit: Chris) I didn't really meet but he actually suggested that I would like to see what had been delivered, which the gentleman I talked to over the phone and who took my paperwork didn't seem to think about that. He was too busy suggesting that I didn't want to wait an hour and a half and that I should give him my number so I could come back when it was complete.
I browsed anyways since it was clear it wasn't what he wanted. Liked a few things, probably will buy another firearm they have in the case, but I'll just avoid that one gentleman.
Had a great time shooting at the Firing Line today with the wife. We spent two or three hours on lane #2, and must have shot a lil over 500 rounds of 9mm today.
Only person i spoke to was the guy at the range/rental counter , who was his usual friendly helpful self. Of course Thai food makes ppl happy too.
David
Spent some time on public lane three Friday... killed a bunch of paper With the wife, and the nice guy at the counter cleared up my jammed up glock after it had a failure to freakin work right.
Couple nice AKs sitting on the racks out on the floor caught my eye too.
Good day at the Firing Line....
Was there today. Talked to sneakerd for a couple of minutes while my lady friend was checking out some of the pistols. Place was busy!
Everyone was friendly and the range was nice. I don't believe I've ever shot at the firing line before today. (35+ years in denver)
The fire was interesting, but they got that under control pretty quick. LOL. "Fire"ing Line.
I'll go back when that location is required.
Sincere thanks to Dave for posting with their new supply & prices! Gives the members first shot. Heard members had a run on HK P30s, Shields & ARs today.
Hope they still have one. If you were hoping to see Dave, I think he got off work at 5:00. Good luck finding your HK!
Hope you got one! We did have quite a few members in today getting in on the deals. I'm rather enjoying countering internet bulls--t and giving COAR members a first shot at stuff that I consider good deals. I'm not just posting up anything and everything, as that might get boring. I'm focusing on stuff that I know many of us are interested in and/or looking for, at prices that I consider bargains in today's market. By the way Sam, the more I look at reviews on those Core 15s, the more I want one! Dammmmnnn Yooouuu!
Wanted to come by, unfortunately they apparently are out of 115gr 200blk ammo...
HAHAHAHA must be time for more coffee!
Their transfer fee's used to be reasonable at$30..............................now they're $50. I was told because they are sooooooo busythey had to up the price. :(

Pmags at the Firing Line are now $19.95 each- starting with Gen2 black 30s. [Neene2]
I have had various experiences with Firing line, about a year or so ago the staff bordered on rude and I was fairly oftentreated like an idiot or outright ignored, as a customer thats bad. I went to another indoor range for my winter shooting time. Recently I have been in a few times because they stocked the UMC 300Blk ammo and I purchased some other odds and ends. No real issue and the staff was much better. Last week I purchased a tube extension for my Remington shotgun, decent price and in stock. Unfortunately, it ended up being the same one I already had on the gun- was looking for at least one or two more round capacity- so I needed to return it. Went in yesterday and made the return, no issues and they were very polite about it, no hassle at all. I actually spent some time wandering around the store just poking around to see what all was they had in stock. I think I met Dave *sneakerd* when I asked about a rifle bag for my FN. Very niceguy, and very honest about what the bag would and would not do. Addressed my key oncern that the bag might not be long enough and encouraged me to bring the rifle down and test fit it before purchase. Overall my opinion has really been changed regarding Firing line. I still find some of thier prices are a tick high, but the same is true of any shop of any sort, and everything was at least in line, unlike some other merchants.
Always fun walking in there.... yep, I bought something there today and kicked the sh*t with Sneakerd. Got to hold a bunch of cool stuff... and surprisingly enough... their shelves are coming back to life with some nice new guns [Coffee]
Thanks pal. If any of you don't know it... Islandermyk is one of coolest guys on the forum. You could do a lot worse than having him as a pard.
Had a chance to try out the range today for free. Can anyone guess why?. Turns out this is a convenient location on my way home from work (live in CR, work out by the airport, oy vey!) so you may be seeing more of my ugly mug. Plus, you guys have a nice selection of milsurp sporters there... I have a soft spot for them even if they are the red-headed freckled step-child of the gun world.
fyi- Firing Line is lowering the standard transfer fee back down to the pre-panic price of $30. This does not include the Governor's tax of $10. Effective immed. We'll have quite a few customers get a pleasant surprise when they come in over the next week to pick up the transfers -they thought- they were going to have to pay $50 for.
