I threw 500 pcs of 6CM brass in the stainless media tumbler and converted 1,000 pcs of 223 into 300 Whisper/Blackout for a friend.
Decapped and sized a couple hundred 40S&W
Poured 3/4 of a coffee can worth of 230 gr LRN boolits! Woot!
First, I looked at my supplies of Varget and H4350 and got angry. Where in blue blazes is it all going? You know they're making more but you never see a single pound for sale.
After some deep breathing exercises and a double scotch, I decapped, cleaned and sized my .260 match brass.
I stared at my Varget, not wanting to open it just yet. Think I'll use up the 4895 first.
Where do you live, Ray? Do you have an alarm system?
Finally got the first piece of equipment.... Besides the super heavy duty table of course:

Last night, I pulled 300 bullets. Today, I resized 300 pieces of Lapua brass. Tonight, I will be refilling the 300 pieces of Lapua brass with the powder I took from the cartridges and reseating the 300 bullets I pulled from them...
Ya, I'm Fn mad. I found some of the rounds would fit, some wouldn't. Two different guns, two different chamber dimensions. They would all fit the loose chamber. Complete fucking rookie mistake and I know better. Winchesher for the PSS and Lapua for the AICS from now on.
Managed to swipe a few hundred pieces of .30-06 brass from a certain old codger up in Conifer. Tumbling 70 years worth of grime off them now.
Lake City '43!!!
Casted 40 cal 180g bullets. Only a couple K left of primers.Should I keep going?
Processed a metric shit ton of .223 brass just to realize that I have less than 300 small rifle primes left.[fail]
After the Mrs. went to work at 5:30 this morning, I was able to squeeze out 250 rounds of 223 Zmax from the Dillon before I had to go to work. I think I am going to start doing that every morning she has to open.
Getting over pneumonia, couple busted ribs... my wife was there, so he was putting on his sickening gentleman routine. I can't believe women fall for it, but they do. Funny. I forgot to ask about the "relationship" book from the guy with 3 ex-wives. [Coffee]
Floor hasn't collapsed yet from all the lead he'll never cast. Has more boolits cast than the next 2 generations of Giampapa's will shoot in their entire lives. I suppose I'd be the same way if I could.
Ignore this post, for Jim since can't add image in PM?
Solid core door already bolted on, not pretty I know but heavy and solid.
casting some 1oz 12ga slugs man they are fun to shoot shinny
Finished reloading the 300 lapua cases in 308 Win that I Fed up on resizing. All reloaded and chamber now.
Then I started prepping 250, 223 cases for reloading with 77gr SMKs.
Finished prepping about 5 gallons of .223 brass. Have another 6-7 gallons to go, then loading it all.
Lubed all the bullets I cast last weekend. Going to load up a couple hundred this week I hope.
Separated some lead ingots for a deal today.
Got a new toy and now I have to clean a spot for it and that sucks http://www.natchezss.com/images/prod...050012_med.jpg I think i need a new bigger man cave[Coffee]
Castaway...
'bout 600 boolits for the .45 autos...
I did about 2,000 pcs of 300 Whisper last night.
After processing a ton of 308 these past couple weeks, going back to 5.56 and 300 Whisper/Blackout was a nice change.
I processed a few 308 cases last night. What an ease with the RCBS prep center with large crimp removal attachment.
Bought 400 bullets for the 6.8 and got 500 in the mail for the .308. I'll be in the garage all day tomorrow I'm sure.
setting up the other 650 for a run of 9. another 550 is supposed to be at elk bomb wed-thurs. dedicated 9, 38/357, 45 and 223 Thanks to jreifsch's idea i am able to run all of them off one bench. Now to clean up the top and final organization[ROFL3]
Made my first 120 pieces of 300 BLK brass tonight, planning on tackling a few more tomorrow. Then do some searching for a better bench so when my 650 show's up I can get it set up right away.
I tried a few hundred the old fashioned way. I pulled what little hair I had left out.
Thats why I have the set up to make them like I do now. In fact, I originally wanted to build a 302 Whisper, but I couldnt find any decent reloading data for it and JD Jones was not willing to sell me any. And thats how my little venture into the 300 Whisper/Blackout began.
Yeah, it's tedious at best, but I actually kind of enjoy the tedium of it, sometimes. Work requires my mind to try to keep track of a million things, plan, plan again, and re-plan and generally burns me out, so the mundane time at the loading bench is actually quite welcome hahaha. But I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to have to do it on anything remotely resembling a time line.
Sized and trimmed 5.7x28 brass. PIA being they need to be trimmed every load!
Bought a tiny 1.25 cu. ft. cement mixer from Horror Freight, and ordered 25# of stainless steel pin media from Pellets, LLC. I wanna do the wet polishing thing, but don't wanna fuck around with the small quantities that the Thumlers will only do. So I should be able to run 25lbs. of brass at a time.
Ain't set up yet, don't have the media yet, and it's still winter. So I've been depriming cases by the thousands to get them ready.
Y'all keep this 'lil experiment of mine in mind, I'll be sure to make a thread about it. And if it works as good as I hope, then I'll be offering polishing service for large quantities later on. Details to follow in a couple months.
I was just taking about getting a cement mixer with another member. Defiantly interested in hearing how it works.
